YSMBJ20 – Transcutaneous Jaundice Detector
The YSMBJ20 Transcutaneous Jaundice Detector is a portable instrument used in the dynamic clinical examination of neonatal jaundice. It is designed to determine the transcutaneous concentration of bilirubin, which is correlated with serum bilirubin concentration, instantly and non-invasively by placing the detector on the neonatal skin. This prevents discomfort associated with the abstraction of blood samples, reduces costs, and increases working efficiency of doctors and nurses.
The Transcutaneous Jaundice Detector is developed with advanced electronics and optics, adopting Fiber Optics, spectrum splitter, controlled spectrum filter, NFM switching, and information processing techniques. It has a liquid crystal display that is easily viewable, a streamlined design that makes it small and delicate, and easy to handle. It has a long service life, low energy consumption, battery indicator that indicates when the battery needs recharging, and test results are rapid, providing serum bilirubin concentration.
The Transcutaneous Jaundice Detector has storage and memory function, convenient to browse and delete functions, convenient self-calibration, and is easy to use and maintain. The specifications of the detector include an LCD display with 3 figures, power from AA 1.5V × 2 batteries, a green indicator light for ready, a measurement range of 0.0mg/dL ~30.0mg/dL, a measurement accuracy of low+1.0mg/dL(+17μmol/L, rest ± 1.5mg/dL(± 25.5μmol/), and a preparation time of less than 12 seconds. It also has a record function that can store 20 latest measuring results and circularly reviews recorded data, and a reexamination rate of less than 10%.
